I am not going to list all my rejections, but this was a bit depressing. It was a hand written rejection. She must have been in a hurry.
"Thank you for thinking of me, but I do not feel that I am a god fir for this. All my best, Sara"
She wrote back apologizing that she meant to say "good fit". At least she was kind enough to write back. And, it wasn't a form letter.
They obviously aren't even reading part of the book or they would be singing a different tune. :D
ReplyDeleteI know they get around 150 or so queries a week. So I shouldn't be surprised. But you know how it is. Even though I try to be very realistic, there is a secret little part of me that says, "wouldn't it be nice if someone liked it from the very first query." LOL
